Welcome
Someone once described evangelism as one beggar telling another where to get bread. I don’t want to use this page for sermons or church words but rather just to tell you where to find bread if you’re hungry. You are important and we want you to feel comfortable and welcome at your local community church.
As a church we feel privileged to have the opportunity to meet at Rowheath Pavilion and manage these facilities. We believe that God is calling us to restore the community heart here and to provide a place of welcome and sanctuary, sharing God’s love, forgiveness and healing in an increasingly frantic and distracted world. As a body of people we want to share the Pavilion with our community and we are encouraging volunteers from the church to get more involved in the running of the building.
We meet together every Sunday at 10.10am to worship God and learn more about His love for us. Our Kidsrock group meets every Sunday for children aged up to about 8 years. Our Disciples group aims to encourage support and explore Christian values with children up to the age of 12; in the last few years of primary school and during the important transition to secondary school. Youth Church, aged 13 and up, meets from 10.30am.
During the week we have the chance to get together in smaller groups to spend time sharing ideas, teaching, listening to one another and supporting each other in prayer. These small groups are also involved in various projects in the wider community. We also run regular Alpha Courses, which are a great way to find out about the Christian faith in a friendly, non-judgmental atmosphere.
We would love to welcome you at one of our Sunday services or to join one of our Alpha Courses and if you have any questions about who we are or what we do please get in touch with me, either by telephone on 07974 910 179 or by dropping in to Rowheath Pavilion to see me.
If you are interested in joining us, why not look at our Welcome Pack (Adobe PDF / 1MB), it will help you get to know who we are and what we do.
Thank you for taking the time to look at our website.
May God bless you,

Paul Clarke, Pastor
